light the
G
room with your smile
C
No I won't
Am
scold you
D7
like a

child

Just
C
open

screen door
D7
come on
G
in

Cause you'll
Em
never be a stranger at my

door

You can't
Em
hurt me hard
G
enough

That I don't
A7
know you any
D7

You'll
C
never

G
be a
A7
stranger

D7
at my
G
door
I know you won't stay
C
But it's
Am
some
D7
thing you
G
don't have to say
C
Let's just
Am
share

D7
what we
G
have for today

As
C
if you
G
have to
A7
leave me
D7
that's

G
ok
Repeat #3

Well hello my old friend

C
You know it's
Am
sure

D7
good to
G
see you again

And
C
there's no
Am
need

D7
to

ex
G
plain where you've been

So just
C
open

G
up the
A7
screen door
D7
come on
G
in

So just
C
