[C]One dream coming [F]one dream going
[C]Which one is we can [G7]hardly tell
[C]One dream coming [F]one dream going
[C]One just beginning Lord the [G7]other gone to [C]hell
On the north side of Nashville
His [F]guitar in his [G7]hand he’s finally [C]leavin’
It don’t look like there’s left too much
But we [F]all know the [G7]looks can be de[C]ceivin’
He [Em]left behind some broken dreams
A [F]lifetime full of half completed [C]songs
Too much midnight crying to [G7]remember
What the joy of love [C]belongs
Repeat #1
On the south side of Nashville
Comes a [F]stranger [G7]life has not a[C]bused him
He’s young and he’s strong
And he’s [F]got a million [G7]moves that he ain’t [C]used yet
He’s [Em]here to spend the night with you
[F]Share a drink or sing you all a [C]song
He’s here to stay forever
[G7]Just as long as it don’t take too [C]long
Repeat #1 x2[/chordpress]
