She [F]asks me do I look [C]alright
I said [F]baby you look just [G7]fine

The [F]beauty I see can’t [G7]be bought off a [C]rack
When [Am]God made her he used [F]heaven and earth [C]He held nothing [F]back

We’re [C]out on the town so she thought [F]we’d celebrate [G7]
We [C]raised our glass and toasted in [Em]memory of [F]our first date[G7]
[F]Looking back we’ve come so [C]far
[F]I’m still proud when she’s [G7]on my arm
But my [F]love goes deeper my [G7]love goes deeper than [C]that
The [F]beauty I see can’t [G7]be bought off a [C]rack
When [Am]God made her he used [F]heaven and earth [C]He held nothing [F]back
But my love goes deeper my [G7]love goes deeper than [C]that
When [Am]God made her he used [F]heaven and earth [C]He held nothing [F]back

He is known for his neotraditionalist country sound and his frequent recording of ballads.
