C
I met her in that smoke filled bar
F
I thought that she would change
G7
But now I see just how much I was
C
wrong
Though we both tried our love still died
F
Now she's gone from me
G7
Back to the only life she's
C
known
Back where the music's loud
F
Back to that swinging crowd
G7
That's where my baby feels at
C
home
Back where the wine flows free
F
That's where she goes from me
G7
That's where my baby feels at
C
home
From the window of the house I built
F
High upon the hill
G7
I look down and I can see those neon
C
lights

So I think I'll take a walk down town

F
And join in all the fun
G7
I can't stand another lonely
C
night
Repeat #2 I'm going...
G7
That's where my baby feels at
C
home
