Written by Wayne Kemp, Curtis Wayne, Faron Young
[C]I met her in that smoke filled bar
[F]I thought that she would change
[G7]But now I see just how much I was [C]wrong
Though we both tried our love still died
[F]Now she’s gone from me
[G7]Back to the only life she’s [C]known
Back where the music’s loud
[F]Back to that swinging crowd
[G7]That’s where my baby feels at [C]home
Back where the wine flows free
[F]That’s where she goes from me
[G7]That’s where my baby feels at [C]home
From the window of the house I built
[F]High upon the hill
[G7]I look down and I can see those neon [C]lights

So I think I’ll take a walk down town
[F]And join in all the fun
[G7]I can’t stand another lonely [C]night
Repeat #2 I’m going…
[G7]That’s where my baby feels at [C]home[/chordpress]
