C
You left me here alone to face the
F
music

Now
D7
all I do is sit alone and
G7
cry
C
I can tell my friends that I don't
F
miss

you

But
G7
I can't tell my broken heart a
C
lie
G7
I'll smile and just pretend that I am
C
happy

And
D7
when someone's around I'll never
G7
cry
C
A million times I'll say that I don't
F
miss

you

But
G7
I can't tell my broken heart a
C
lie

Everybody whispers as they
F
pass

me

They
D7
say that I'm a fool to sit and
G7
cry
C
I tell them all that someday I'll
F
love

another

But
G7
I can't tell my broken heart a
C
lie
