C
When it's moonlight on my cabin I'll be
F
waiting

When it's
C
moonlight on the pine trees I'll be
G7
there

For I
C
know there is someone patiently
F
waiting

When it's
C
moonlight on the
G7
pine trees I'll be
C
there

Lonely blue ridge mountain June know that I
F
love

you
C
And I'm coming back to you again real
D7
soon

G7

There's a
C
girl up in the mountains waiting
F
for

me

With big
C
brown eyes and
G7
raven long black
C
hair

Oh the long trail of the lonesome pine is
F
waiting
C
And the whippoorwills they sing for your
G7
return

When it's
C
moonlight on the cabin I'll be
F
waiting

When it's
C
moonlight on the
G7
pine trees I'll be
C
there

Lonely blue ridge mountain home I am
F
returning
C
Heading up the hillside never more to
D7
roam

G7

When it's
C
moonlight on the cabin I'll be
F
coming

When it's
C
moonlight on the
G7
pine trees I'll be
C
home
