Dm
I can hear the traffic on the
G7
crowded strip below

As the

palm trees poke their heads above the

scene

But there's
C
not a single reindeer and it
Dm
hardly ever snows

And
G7
Santa drives a Rolls Royce limou

sine

But
A#7
all along the

Rockies you can

feel it in the air

From

The

It's a

I remember Christmases when I was just a

boy

In the

tree

And the carolers on the hillside sang their
Dm
songs
Of Christmas joy

Well I
G7
always thought they sang them just for
C
me
Dm
Now the sun is setting in the
G7
California

sky

And
Dm
I can't find the spirit any
G7
where

So I
C
think it's time for me to tell Los
Dm
Angeles

goodbye

I'm
G7
goin' back home to look for Christmas
C
there

All along the
F
Rockies you can

feel it in the air

From
