Funny you can
G7
hold it in your hand

And
F
never know cause you're afraid to
G7
play

And
C
you can feel your dreams softly
G7
slipping through your fingers

Till
F
they're so far
G7
away
F
Sittin' there
G7
surrounded by your
C
many life's possessions
F
Feelin' so much
G7
more than all the
C
load

You
F
realized you've
G7
learned one more of
C
living's many lessons
Dm
Love's worth more than
F
all you'll ever
G7
own

What I'd
F
give if
G7
you was here
C
beside

me
F
We could spend
G7
forever here
C
alone

Oh what I'd
F
give what would I
G7
give

Just that
Am
mo-
F
ment

G7
just everything I'll ever
C
own

Funny when I
G7
really had it all

I never
F
knew cause I just couldn't
G7
see

The
C
wealth I hoped to find couldn't
G7
even hold a candle
F

To the love you gave to
G7
me

I've
F
taken love for
G7
granted

And I've
C
taken love for pleasure
F
Never taking
G7
time to under
C
stand

Now
F
I know that
G7
lovin' you has
C
been my greatest treasure
Dm
And I let it slip right through my
G7
hands

Ooh what I'd
F
give if
G7
you were here
