C
I've got a story to tell would you mind listenin'

I can always count on you we're such good
G7
friends
And I need to talk about my situation

And you're the only one who'll under
C
stand
That someone's got designs on my baby

She's making her intentions very
F
plain

We both know this old
D7
gal that I'm
C
talkin'

about

But I don't want to
G7
mention any
C
names

Well she's
F
asked him to slow dance way too often

She's
C
made suggestions I don't like it
G7
all

I'm
F
tryin' to let her know that I'm
C
wise to her game

But I don't want to
G7
mention any
C
names
Well now I can understand why she'd want him

Oh you've even said yourself it's quite a
G7
prize
She's about as good a friend as you are

Come to think of it she's just about your
C
size
If she don't back off there's gonna be some trouble

Now I'm prepared to make that very
F
plain

I sure hope I've said
D7
enough just be
C
tween the two of us

Cause I don't want to
G7
mention any
C
names
repeat #3

Well I'm
F
tryin' to let her know that I'm
C
wise to her game

But I don't want to
G7
mention any
C
names
