that's what

he said
G7

And
C
forever is a word that should
F
mean

something

But that's what
C
he said
G7
that's what
C
he

said
G7
You're telling me the
F
same sweet things
C
he told me

And
D7
in your eyes I see that same
G7
sweet

glow

And
C
did you say you'd never leave me
F
lonely

Well that's what
C
he said
G7
that's what
C
he

said
G7
You're telling me
F
I've got to go
C
on

living

To
D7
open up my heart and just let
G7
go

And it's
C
better to love and lose than
F
live with nothing

But that's what
C
he said
G7
that's what
C
he

said
F
That's what
C
he said
G7
that's what
