D7
If dark
G
clouds

D7
cover your
G
Christmas

sky

If the world
C
around

D7
you should
G
seem

unkind

Don't
D7
for a
G
single moment let your
C
strong faith die

Always
G
believe the
Am
Star

D7
still

G
shines
D7
And if
G
you would
D7
weaken and
G
turn

aside

From the
C
path that
D7
seems much too
G
high to climb
D7
Recall a
G
tiny Baby with more
C
love than pride

Always
G
believe the
Am
Star

D7
still

G
shines

The Star still
D7
shines which will lead us
G
home

The angels
Em
sing you're
C
never never
Am
alone
D7

And
G
when children
D7
hunger out
G
in the cold

With their tiny
C
hands

D7
seeking

G
love to find
D7
And when fools
G
only worship
C
altars of gold

Always
G
believe the
Am
Star

D7
still

G
shines
C
Always

G
believe the
Am
Star

D7
still

G
shines
