drag you
G
round

And everybody knows

you'll be

found
C
Following a
D7
trail of

tears

She keeps her heart all
C
locked in
G
chains
C
Never have a chance
D7
to love
G
again

But you won't be the
C
first my
G
friend

You're
C
following a
D7
trail of
G
tears

A
C
trail of teardrops
F
always

C
fall

Cause
G
girls like that don't
D7
care at
G
all
C
She just wants to
F
see you
C
crawl
G
Crawling through the
D7
trail of
G
tears

You'll tell her that you
C
need her
G
so

But
C
she'll just laugh and
D7
then you'll
G
know

That you've got a lifetime
C
left to
G
go
C
Following a
D7
trail of
G
tears
Repeat #3

You're asking me how
C
I can
G
tell
C
But it's a story
D7
that I know
G
well

Cause I've been walked all
C
over

G
hell
C
Following a
D7
trail of
G
tears
Repeat #3 x2

Crawling through a
