[G]Little Rainy I know [D7]you’ve been low on [C]money

When I [G]get back home I [D7]hope that my box is [C]filled
I [G]read your letter [A7]tonight [C]I’d like to say I’m [G]sorry
I write a letter [A7]tonight [C]I hope you know I [G]care
I’d like to pay your way out west but before you got [C]started
This old [G]rodeo road’ll have me [D7]back in your hometown [C]again
[G]Dear Windy I know you’re [D7]young and you live with your [C]family
Say that [G]midwestern morality is [D7]making you miserab[C]le
If you [G]decide to come on [D7]out you will be disa[C]ppointed
I’ll be [G]away from my home with a [D7]star and a song some[C]where
repeat #2
[G]Hello sunshine I just [D7]took a chance on [C]calling
I got [G]two days off I [D7]imagine me catching you [C]home
I’d like to [G]see you while I’m [D7]here resting up for the [C]next time
When I’ll be [G]leaving this place with a [D7]smile on my face cause of [C]you
I [G]rang your number [A7]tonight [C]so good to hear you [G]talking
I send my message [A7]tonight [C]I hope you know I [G]care
I’m so glad you live out west it feels good just [C]knowing
This old [G]rodeo road has me [D7]back in your hometown [C]again
This old [G]rodeo road has me [D7]back in your hometown [C]again
This old [G]rodeo road has me [D7]back in your hometown [C]again[/chordpress]
