Is Anybody Going to San Antone Song Lyrics and Chords by Charlie Pride

Is Anybody Going To San Antone
Recorded by Charlie Pride
Written by
Dave Kirby and Glenn Martin

C
Rain dripping off the
F
brim of my hat
G7
sure is cold
C
today

Here I am walking down
F
Sixty Six
G7
wish she hadn't done me that
C
way

Sleeping under a table in a
F
roadside park a
G7
man could wake up
C
dead

But it sure seems warmer
F
than it did
G7
sleeping in our king size
C
bed

Chorus

Is anybody going to
F
San Antone or
G7
Phoenix

Ari
C
zona

Any place is all right as
F
long as I can
G7
forget I've ever
C
known

her

Wind whipping down the
F
neck of my shirt like I
G7
ain't got nothing
C
on

But I'd rather fight the
F
wind and rain than
G7
what I've been fighting at
C
home

Yonder comes a truck with the
F
U.S. mail
G7
people writing letters back
C
home

Tomorrow she'll probably
F
want me back but I'll
G7
still be just as
C
gone

Repeat Chorus
