G
Oh them
C
big wheels are turnin' goin'
D7
somewhere

And they're carryin' her away from my
G
side
D7
Yes I
G
cried

D7
thought I'd
G
die
D7
Love was just a game to me I
G
thought I'd never
E7
cry

I
A7
thought she'd be the loser
D7
but standin' here am I

And that
C
long train is rollin' goin'
D7
somewhere

And it's carryin' her away from my
G
side
D7
Yes I
G
cried

D7
thought I'd
G
die

A
D7
broken heart is somethin'
G
that I have never
E7
had

But
A7
I learned the hard way didn't
D7
know it hurt so bad

And them
C
big wheels are turnin' going
D7
somewhere

And they're carryin' her away from
G
my

side
D7
(Yes he
G
cried

D7
thought he'd
G
die)

This
D7
burnin' love unwanted this
G
love that never
E7
dies

Keeps
A7
right on a hurting no
D7
matter how I try

And that
C
old rattler's rollin' goin
D7

somewhere

And it's carryin' her away from my
G
side
D7
Yes I
G
cried

D7
thought I'd
G
die

Many
D7
years I've fooled around and
G
many years I've
E7
lied

I'd
A7
always be a leavin' with that
D7
suitcase by my side

But that
C
big engine's rollin' goin'
D7
somewhere

And it's carryin' her away from my
G
side
D7
Yes I
G
cried

D7
thought I'd
G
die
D7
Yes I
G
cried

D7
thought I'd
G
die
