C
Though you're far far away are you lonely today

If you
G7
are please return dear to
C
me and say
That you'll join my happy home and be all my own

And
G7
never again go
C
away

When you're
F
faded and old dear I
C
wonder

If
F
your heart will ever think of me and
C
yearn
Will your memory stray to someone of yesterday

And
G7
someday your love for me
C
return
When your hair has faded white and you sit along at night

Please
G7
remember that I'm lonely for
C
you as can be
Just remember that I'm lonely sweetheart for you only

Want you
G7
please forgive and
C
return to me
Repeat #2
repeat #3

Through it all, his musically talented mother provided the emotional support he needed to pursue his dream of becoming a famous entertainer like his idol, the country star, Jimmie Rodgers. As a performer of traditional country music, Snow won numerous awards and is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame and the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. The Hank Snow Museum in Liverpool, Nova Scotia, celebrates his life and work in a province where his fans still see him as an inspirational figure who triumphed over personal adversity to become one of the most influential artists in all of country music.
