Scale To Measure Love
Recorded by Hank Snow
Written by Herb Weiner and Cy Crune
G
If I had a scale to
C
measure

love

Like a
G
clock can measure
D7
time

And
G
we put our love up
C
on that scale

Would
G
yours weigh as
D7
much as
G
mine

Of
D7
late it seems your thoughts are far
G
away

I
A7
doubt if you hear half the things I
D7
say

I'd be
G
hurt if I knew just
C
who you're thinking of

I'm so
G
glad there's no
D7
scale to measure
G
love

Your
D7
kisses always thrilled me at the
G
start

But
A7
now I wonder are they from your
D7
heart

I'd
G
be sure if it's me that
C
you were thinking of

If
G
I could find a
D7
scale to measure
G
love
