(I Still Long To Hold You) Now And Then
Recorded by Reba McEntire
Written by Jerry Fuller
G
I see you now
Am
I think of then

And
D7
dwell upon the happiness of
G
way back when

Cause
C
since you said goodbye the
Bm
feelings just won't
E7
die

And I
Am
still long to
D7
hold you now and
G
then
Am

D7
G
A million years
Am
have come and gone

And
D7
I was sure by now I'd make it
G
on my own

But
C
seeing you today
Bm
took my breath
E7
away

And I
Am
still long to
D7
hold you now and
G
then
C
Suddenly I
D7
felt myself
G
wondering

If
C
you might wanna
D7
try it
G
again

And
C
though I wanted so much to
Em
hold

you

You
A7
smiled and shook my
Am
hand
D7
G
So I'll exist
Am
on dreams again

Of
D7
days when we were lovers and
G
not just friends

And
C
even if I find
Bm
another love in
E7
time

I
Am
still long to
D7
hold you now and
G
then

Oh I
Am
still long to
D7
hold you now and
G
then
