When I left this morning
G7
you were sleeping

So I
C
kissed your sweet face

And I quietly whispered
G7
goodbye

The
C
faintest little smile
G7
began to form

Upon your
C
lips and I thought

Oh
G7
I love her so much I could
C
die

So I just thought I'
G7
d call to say
C
I love you

There's not a minute you're not on
G7
my

mind

Yes
C
I just thought I'd call to say
F
I love you

I had to
C
tell you
G7
one more
C
time

Seems like only yester
G7
day I held you

For the
C
very first time

And love was only a
G7
dream
C
Now each time I hold you
G7
realizing

All the
C
things that we share
G7
I love you even more it
C
seems
Repeat #2

Yes I just thought I'd call to say
F
I love you

I had to
C
tell you
G7
one more
