C
It's all that I can
F
do to make
G7
it through another
C
day

The minutes seem
Am
to creep along
D7
the time gets in my
G7
way
F
But when my work is done and the
F#
day is almost
G7
through
F
I can't imagine
C
laying down with
G7
anyone but
C
you

I don't believe
F
that I can move a
G7
mountain

any
C
more

Except for when
Am
you dim the lights
D7
and lock the bedroom
G7
door
F
Then I'll do anything you say
F#
you want me
G7
to
F
But I can't imagine
C
laying down with
G7
anyone but
C
you
Am
And every time you touch me
F
I can feel the very first
C
time
Am
And when you hold my body
D7
you surely hold my
G7
mind
C
The night-time is for
F
dreaming and pre
G7
tending dreams are
C
real

But there's no dream that could
Am
ever touch the
D7
way you make me
G7
feel
F
Darling when I'm in your arms
F#
all my dreams come
G7
true
F
And I can't imagine
C
laying down with
G7
anyone but
C
you
F
No I can't imagine
C
layin' down with
G7
anyone but
C
you
